This Notice outlines our personal information-handling practices for this website and related sites, pages, applications, and content (collectively referred to as the “Website”). It is readily available on our home page and generally available at the bottom of every Populus Group web page. Please read this Notice carefully. If you choose not to provide your personal information to us, you may not be able to use our services. Collection of Personal Data

Populus Group collects personal information to operate effectively and to comply with government regulations (e.g., employment, tax, insurance). Populus Group collects and maintains Personal Information from its current and former employees, from individuals it may potentially employ or place for permanent or temporary employment with Populus Group customers, from current and former contingent workers (including temps and other non-employees) of Populus Group and at times, it may collect or be exposed to personal information from its customers. Through certain of the Populus Group Web sites, Populus Group collects personal information that is voluntarily provided by users when a user signs up for a Populus Group Web site that allows for users to set up an account or otherwise submit information for the purpose of searching for temporary or permanent employment opportunities, submits his or her resume for inclusion in an Populus Group database or responds to a specific listed employment position.

The information Populus Group collects will be used only as described in this Privacy Statement and/or in the way we specify at the time of collection. We may collect this information solely for the purposes of managing the work we are contracted to manage, the purposes for which you provided it, and/or the purposes set forth in this Notice. Populus Group will abide by any contractual obligations contained in any customer agreement related to the collection of Personal information we receive from the customer.
Populus Group notifies all identified data subjects about the purposes for which personal data is collected and used. In appropriate situations, however, Personal information may be “anonymized” so that the identity of individual data subjects cannot be known. In these cases, Populus Group will not notify you regarding the purpose for which personal data is collected and used by Populus Group.

“Do Not Track” Signals

Residents of certain states, including California and Delaware, may be subject to particular statutes requiring disclosure of how the Website responds to web browser “do not track” signals or other mechanisms that provide consumers the ability to exercise choice regarding the collection of personal information about their online activities over time and across third-party websites or online services, such as California Bus. & Prof. Code § 22575 and 6 Del.C. § 1205C.
